Hey Friends,
We are still looking for bicycle ride leaders for each of the starting points. Contact Steven at the email address below or for more information.

Please pass along this email to everyone you know in Portland (including your workmates). I have updated our website and posted much information about the event. Check it out...www.cityrepair.org

Also, this is the last few days for signing up organizations and businesses (we have 107 confirmed so far). We are still looking for a few more food vendors, so if you know of a restaurant, cart or food vendor of any sort, please pass along this info or print out a registration form to bring to them.

Thanks for all your help!!!

much love,
bob e

BikeEarthDay!
Come ride down to SELLWOOD PARK on April 22 for EARTH DAY with organized BICYCLE RIDES from all parts of Portland led by Community Exchange Cycle Touring Club volunteers.

Map with all Starting Points:
www.cityrepair.org/wiki.php...eearthday

Volunteer as a Bike Ride Leader (and fix up your bike for Free!)
There will be 3 opportunities for Ride Leader Training:
April 1, 8, 15 (all Saturdays) from 11am - 12pm, at SE 2503 Division Street.
These sessions are the same, please attend one of them.
We will give you an orientation of the rules of the road and other techniques of group ride leading. We will also help you work on any repair needs on your bike, or help you procure necessary equipment.

There will be a mock training ride on Sunday, April 16 at 2pm to allow the ride leaders to practice on road as a group. The location will be at the Eastbank Esplanade Madison Street Parking Lot. Free public parking available on city streets.

Please also help recruit others to volunteer as ride leaders. We still need about 28 volunteers. If you need the Earth Day Ride info from me, please just email me.

Thanks! Steven Kung, EarthDayRide Coordinator, (503)957-6672 BikeEarthDay[at]cityrepair.org
